Development

We aim to keep abreast of new developments within the physiotherapy environment through continued education.

We Offer

  • Monthly in-house training sessions for all physiotherapists at our practice
  • Membership with Physiopedia (through Namibian Society of Physiotherapy membership) for access to other courses and research material
  • Training for nurses and porters on various topics
  • Presentations to corporates and schools on ergonomics and other relevant topics
  • Supervision, training and development of intern physiotherapists

We follow strict quality assurance guidelines and protocols, to ensure delivery of the best possible service by our physiotherapists and admin staff alike. We are running a quality improvement project on early mobilisation in ICU, based on results from a study conducted by one of our physiotherapists for her master’s degree. Our physiotherapists work in both an out-patient and hospital environment.

In the hospital setting, our physiotherapists tend to patients with various orthopaedic, neurological, surgical, cardiac, medical, and pulmonary conditions. We also offer our services to COVID patients both in-hospital, and on an outpatient basis for post-acute and long-COVID rehabilitation. In the outpatient setting our physiotherapists tend to patients with orthopaedic and sporting injuries (including post-operative), respiratory and neurological conditions. We also provide rehabilitation after cardiac, hip, knee, and back surgery.
